The Original Farmers Market – Started in early 20th century, it still is city’s one of favourite landmarks. It offers fresh produce, and has food stalls, grocery shops, cobbling shops, and more speciality shops. In summers it also hosts evening concerts that will make your day out perfect here.

La Brea Tar Pits & Museum – From ages tar has been bubbling out from these pits and has trapped many historic animals, leaving behind one of world’s Largest ice age fossil collection. Here you can see live excavation of fossils and their processing, of probably mammoths, and saber toothed cats.

The Museum of Contemporary Art – It consists of two facilities, MOCA Grand, on Grand Avenue and MOCA Geffen in Little Tokyo with new works and emerging media. It is home to more than 6000 pieces of art work from artists like Agnes Martin, Nam June Paik, Jackson Pollock, and Mike Kelley.

Watt Towers – Consider it DIY or outsider art. It is built by Italian immigrant over three decades with scrap metal and concrete, and decorated with green glass from bottles of 7-Up or Canada Dry and tiles from Malibu Pottery, as well as marble, jewellery and seashells. There are 17 of them.
